People tend to flee communist countries because they're fascists, or they owned a plantation, or they were a capitalist crook. Basically, they're fleeing being publicly executed by the proletariat for their crimes.
Then they come to America and continue what they were doing before and spread propaganda about how oppressive it was for "small business owners". See: people who fled Cuba when Castro took their plantations away and now vote for DeSantis.

once again wishing to skip to the utopian future where it no longer exists and people just have unquestioned complete body autonomy
i want to live in a future where the concept of being trans is no longer coherent because it's just assumed everyone goes through at least like 5 puberties and tried every configuration of different body parts and presentations as part of growing up, and whether that resembles what they started with is irrelevant
this is both a transhumanism thing and a "the only way to get rid of misogyny, transphobia, homophobia, etc. - which are all part of the same apparatus - is to remove gender entirely and this is the most surefire way to do it" thing

Which White People Expedition Diaries have you been reading? That subgenre is one I've always enjoyed but for understandable reasons (ie the racism) they're pretty thin on the ground these days
Oh I’m reading the historical ones like the Burke and Wills expedition notes and they’re racist as fuck. I think it’s funny when colonizers die of shit your brains out and get eaten by rats disease.

Wrong.
Camels are extremophiles. They're very very good at traversing dune seas like the Sahara. The Burke expedition was not traveling over mesa steppe or open desert, most of it followed the paths of mud basin rivers. Camels are not agile creatures. They rapidly became bogged down in the muddy, uneven terrain, and lost the expedition a massive amount of time. Additionally, the route was capped off by two treks through mountainous jungle.
A better choice here would have been the humble mule.
